Here's my 375 in progress. 1959 Model 70 cleaned up and trued, 22" 602 barrel, NECG sights screwed and soldered, Talley bases fitted to receiver and drilled to 8x40's. All metal by Bill Leeper. I originally had a Rimrock for this rifle, but I couldn;t make myself like the thick comb and cheekpiece, so as an interim I stuffed it in a Boyds that I'd already re-shaped and trimmed down. I tried to adjust the comb so the irons would work as well as the scope, if it worked I may end up leaving it in this stock, for $65 the Boyds makes a good trial stock anyways. Lots of finishing work to be done, cross-bolts, a brockman front swivel, back to Bill for bluing ........... Nice gun. you have done well,..I like the lines of your stock. I would use a barrel band swivel with that big caliber, and cut the forend to about 9"s like an English gun, make it worth more..but thats just an opine on my part. Very nice but why the extra rear sweep to the bolt handle? Doug Humbarger NRA Life member Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club 72'73. Yankee Station Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.

thanks for the comments, d humbarger, that is the original bolt handle, maybe the camera angle makes it look skewed I haven't had a p64 in this large a caliber though, and that sweept handle may prove to be a knucklebuster
