| GS Custom is the only company that I can think of http://gscustom.co.za/Go to the FN data. These are solid copper. You will have to wait awhile to receive bullets once you order, postage is slow. If you are in a hurry, I have some on hand. E-mail me if interested. |

| Barnes makes a 400 grain .458 solid.
I ordered $505 worth of GS Bullets in December. They have never arrived. GS repeatedly promised a trace but now ignores all of my emails and telephone messages. |

| DPM, let me ask if you are useing these in a double rifle, or not? If not, the Barnes super solids (Monolithic solids)come in 400 gr weight, and they work great in a single shot 45-70, but they might be a little too round nosed to use in a tubular magazine of a lever action. They also come in 450 gr, and 500 gr as well! I wouldn't use them in a double rifle, as they are too hard, and can cause the barrels to come unsoldered, among other bad things! CAUTION: Start out with a lower powder charge and work up slowly. These Mono-metel soilds increase the chamber pressures considerably! |

| fla006,
Thanks for the suggestion, but GS Custom is located in South Africa.
But I may try the postal inspectors. Maybe they can work through RSA postal inspectors to resolve it. |

I would like to use them in my Kodiak double, but I don't want to risk damage. I was hoping that Barnes made them in the original version. I have some A-square 465 gr mono solids, but I think they will be to heavy to get any speed out of. Any other sugestions?? |
