It is no longer just a fig-newton of our imagination! Here's the real thing with one of my 450/400 3" 400 grain factory RN's for comparison. DGX on the left and DGS on the right. DGX is flat on the front, but has enough ogive to allow to climb the ramp fine. Cycled a half dozen of each thru the rifle - slow, fast, upside backwards; all worked fine with no issues. I'm working late the next two nights to get ready for Reno SCI, but am tempted to go touch one off into the night "Iraqi style" to check out the fire from the 20 inch barrel. I am stoked to get out with it now!

I lived in Idaho Falls and Rexburg for 25 years and it is a great place. Do you still go out past Ski's and shoot west of town at the national guard range? I was going to ISU in 1986 and used to trap cats in my trailer park and take them out there for a little night shooting. It was an exciting adventure. Got tired of taking them to the pound. AzGuy: My Natchez catalog has them listed in stock and on sale right now for $72.33 (reg. $83.54). I don't know if that is good or not. B70: The old Nat'l Guard range got closed to public many years ago. Ski closed his doors a year ago also. Can be a member of the silhouette club and shoot there, or Blackfoot has a nice range as does Rexburg. You can always go to the millions of acres of BLM or USFS. I hear what you're saying; I'm not a cat person either - the only ones off limits are my daughter-in-law's!
