Are there any other Company than Bertram brass that makes cases for the .585 Nyati these Days??
I tired to e-mail Dieter hornebear at his e-mail adress on the website but the mail is invalid
I talked with a Swedish gunsmith that have build one .585 nyati Before and he got cz550 action´s ready at home for Nyatis´he said
But if there isnt any other brass maker than Bertram then it would be useless. Heard that they are of very bad quality...

You could do my 585HE- with the brass Bruce makes,real strong brass,
and can much hairier loads than Nyati,if you want to.Or load down.

The brass takes super high pressure, like 650gr over 3000 fps,as it is made
by Bruce from same draws as the over a million Cheytac cases
he has done that are working great. And the CZ can feed 585HE,
as any action like CZs, that take 505 Gibbs case can feed our 585HE.

He's making a few more barrels of 585HE cases and you can order direct,
and CH4D has dies in stock, as well as I have dies ahead..Ed.

I use a lot of Bertram brass and it's good quality stuff. There were some bad stuff years ago and the myth persists even today that it's all junk.

Bertram brass is total crap in a .585 Nyati. It seems to be ok in other calibers. I would strongly advise you to go with EDs .585 HE if you just have to have a .585. I have not talked to Dieter for years. But he made the best Nyati brass ever built. I still have some from the batch he did for me.

I have only tried this caliber with Bertram.

Never again.

It was the most useless brass I have ever seen.
