I haven't searched the likely suspects yet, but my PH in Africa would like me to bring him some brass for his new .416 Rigby. Who has it and is any brand considered better for this caliber. Thanks. CAT

I consider Norma the best 416 rigby brass, although if you can find some once fired Federals they are good too.

Midway usually has Norma 416 Rig brass for 40 bucks, but they are out of stock.

Grafs is out of stock.

Huntingtons gets $161 for 100 of them.

Another source at $182 for 100 pieces:

Buffalo Arms has it for $190 for100:

Gatogordo,

I just went through this drill myself. Most everyone is out of Norma brass until April. I picked up Sinclair Intl's last 50 empty cases. Check Ebay, sometimes you can find it there.

Gentlemen

This is frustrating times, no Brass [Eek!] [Eek!] [Eek!] I suggest you e-mail NORMA and ask. www.norma.cc

This is the best way of letting them know what is on priority [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

Check with midsouth shootersupply, perhaps you are lucky.

I normally use Norma .416 Rigby brass and it is excellent. However, in my experience BeLL brass(MAST Technologies) is just as excellent and is readily available directly from MAST.

Gatogordo - Norma brass seems to be the "standard" here in Alaska for 416 Rigby; I use it and it is excellent - how many cases do you need / want for your trip as I have some new, unfired cases I can turn loose ? KMule

Kmule:

Thanks for the offer, but this is for the PHs rifle and I have until the middle of May to find some and feel sure I can by then. Since I'm probably going to wind up giving it to him as part of his tip, or whatever, I'm hoping to find a sale, or a "deal" at a gun show before then. I'll keep you in mind if I get desperate though. Again, thanks. CAT
