I recently went outdoors with my new CZ 550 Safari Mag (416) and began the load development process, only to find out when I flip up the 200 and 300 yard sights they are blocked by the fixed 100 yard vee. Is it me or is there a problem with this? I assume that the other flip sights should stand a little taller that the fixed 100 yard. Any feed back would be helpful.
Is the 100 hitting to point of aim? Normaly it dosn't, and requires you to file it (rear sight) down until it does. Than do the same thing to the 200yd.

Thanks for the relies guys, I beleived that this too was a problem. I called CZ Customer support and got some num-skull that didn't get what I was telling him. "Are you having a problem" that's all he keep repeating. Yes I do I can't see the two folding leaf sights! I got so frustrated I hungup. When I asked if there was a recall (sillent) or public , he got agitated with me. Something smells like fish here. Next step a letter to CZ desribing what we in GA call :"Customer No Service"
Maybe someone at the factory forgot to file the rear sight down(?).
But on the other hnad, maybe the standing sight makes it shoot right on at 100m. What does the factory included target look like?
Have you shot it with open sights? Where does it shoot?
If it shoots with the standing sight, IF it were me, I wouldn't worry about it. For me, the 200 and 300 yard (or meter) open sights are just cosmetic anyway.
Factory target is about 1.5 moa to me, can't tell what kinda load they used. I only have taken shots at 50 yards , I was more interested in my chrony numbers on this outing. The two flip up sights are below the 100 yard sight, thus useless cause youcan't see them.At 50 yds its high and left , drifted it a bit overshould correct it. I guess my sticking point is buying something and it's not right.
If it's high, you need to lower the rear sight. As the standing is not adjustable, you need to file it down to adjust the POI/POA. Once you have the stander set for 100, you will be able to see the 200 and work with it in the same manner. That's how it's done, simple and easy (as long as you do't take off to much metal that is)

John, You don't need to file the express sight. CZ has front sights numbered 1 thru 15 (1 is shortest) that are used to regulate height. CZ USA was expecting a shipment to refill their inventory (they normally carry all in stock). My 375H&H came from the factory zeroed w/ 300grain ammo using a #12 sight. I needed to switch to a #14 sight to zero 270grain ammo. As far as the flip ups are concerned, the only thing you will see is the tiniest amount of additional height at the very bottom of the notch. Check it again making sure you are looking straight down the sights when you flip them up.
If it is shooting high, you need to file "down" the V, when it comes to POI at 50 yards then the two leafs should be just a tad higher than the standing....I wouldn't send the gun back, but I would send the sight back...
The folks at CZ are absolutly brain dead, they are truly bean counters and have no clue...It is a policy thats going to bite them in the a$$ is they don't get it together..
