Lon does a lot of work with CZ's but also has a large supply of Selous square bridge magnum Mauser actions that he can -and will- build into identical clones of pre-war Rigby's or H&H rifles - or whatever the customer prefers.
As I said, if you are looking for something as close to Rigby as is possible - he is the one to call first.
If you just want a good , or for the money you are talking it should be superb, rifle - then many (but not all) of the folks recommended here are great.

<thors460>I believe you opinion is of personal choice and not complete facts how do you know my company specs aren't exact or if not better then Lon Paul
I was - and am not - naming names - and only can recommend those that I have personal experience with.
My seemingly favoritism toward Lon Paul rifles is partially because I admire his work but mainly because the original question was someone looking for a 416 Rigby rifle similar to an original.
I have handled examples of rifles by many of the named makers here and there certainly are many makers capable of doing work as good as Lon's - only with differing styles.
I also have experience with some who's quality -to be kind - is highly variable.
Like everyone here, I am only offering my personal opinion of good makers that those looking for nice rifles can contact.

fla3006Thors, can you post some close-up pictures of your rifles? The 505 on your website is hard for me to see well. Thanks.

Phil, I wish all of those "in the trade" would use their real names on the site or at least identify themselves with a tag line as you have done. Whether they are a gunsmith, PH or outfitter of some type, it would allow other forum participants to give proper weight to those expert opinions but also to understand the potential for conflicts of interest.
thors460 is Julio Acum of Express Rifles. They have a website
www.expressrifles<dot>com however I get a security warning from my anti-virus software not to proceed to their website.
