Hello gun nuts,

Could one of you help me understand the relationship (if any) between CZ/ZZK/BRNO. Is the CZ550 a BRNO 602 built by different companies, or is it a timeline thing where CZ used to be BRNO and now it's CZ, or are they all built by someone else and they just stamp their appropriate logos on them etc.

thanks,

BAxter

Baxter: now CZ is a different company. I don´t know if BRNO (which originates the works) is still in existence. The CZ 550 is mainly a ZKK 602 with some improvements (or so they say, I´m perfectly satisfied with my 602, but the Americans don´t like the safety in these actions and the set trigger). Some gunsmiths also say that in the big boomers the stock should be reinforced. Never experienced a crack in 375 H&H, but perhaps it´s only my gun.
