Hoehne, I will follow Ray and say that the bullet is on the soft side. I used the .375"/270 grain Hornady Interlock bullet in my .376 Steyr on a big eland in '01. This is Hornady's factory ammunition for the .376. The bullet didn't make it through the shoulder on the first shot, nor through the hand quarter on the second, though both shots broke bones. I was then able to walk up and put a shot in the neck to finish the animal. I would move up to the Nosler Partition. You know those will work on anything. jim | ||
