Best way is to get a magnum follower then hand fit it...IMO.

My stainless 375 follower measures 3.5"/89mm. I recall my stainless follower in my 416Rem was also the same length.

Cheers.

My M70 .375 follower is 3.520" Knowing that my CZ550s have a 3.800" mag box I measured those followers and guess what? 3.520" on the nose. Hmmm; are you certain you're not fixing something that isn't broken? I've been kmown to do that on occasion.

A Weatherby Mark V chambered in .300 Weatherby has a 3.600 and a bit follower, and my Sako 75s have a follower that measures out at 3.700". Those are in detachable mags and may or may not accommodate your spring. A follower from an older Sako with floorplate just might bee worth checking into.

There's no need to cut and shut anything, the follower doesn't need to be snug in length in the mag box, none of my rifles are.
As long as it is held at the rear of the box, you shouldn't see any problems.

Cheers.

I'm going to try a .375 follower and see how it goes, if it works....good, if not I can always add a bit of length with some epoxy or liquid metal as a trial.
Perhaps I should have asked for mag.box inner length as well as follower length to get an idea of clearances Roll Eyes

Thanks to all who took the time to measure the followers for me tu2
