I got some stuff with my 505 Gibbs today. Need some help on the brass.

BR&C, A-Square, Bertram, and a few headstamped Bell 577NE

Anybody got any experience with any of this as regards quality and life?

Quality of Bertran is below average, I bought 120: quiet a few were 50grns heavier than the rest, there is a step at the web only about 25 had this step centred some had no step on one side and obviously big one on the other.

Think Norma are going to start making 505 as well.

I got some Horinber brass, 20 cases 3grns between the lot looks really good, only fireformed a couple so far and they appear ok.
Brass is a little thinner in neck on the Horniber.

thanks, that's what I had heard RE Bertram...was hoping that their 505 might be better quality. Oh, well, I guess we shoot it and find out.
