I recently acquired a quantity of these for practically nothing. They feed and shoot great in my rifle and informal penetration tests on a stump were favorable. What I want to know is if anyone has actually used these on game and how they worked? Most likely use for me would be for moose or black bear.

I used one on a bull elk.



The shot was broadside and the bullet went over the heart and through both lungs and lodged in the opposite shoulder. No exit and no broken shoulder. I would consider this minimal penetration for use on an elk.



I never recovered the bullet. I had the elk processed at a butcher.



I would use them on blackbear but only broadside shots for moose.
