for those of you who have been whining about CS's lack of left hand rifles, STOP IT!!! I held a standard production, not prototype, production, LH rifle in 375 H&H. New retail for 2009 is $1400, $300 more than righties. I played with a take down CZ being offered by Evolution Gunworks about four hours north of me in White Bird, Idaho. Around $1500 for the conversion, and adjustable to take up any wear from people like us sitting around every night taking it apart, etc playing with it. Steel plates that interlock as you screw it together the last turn. I also held and photographed Harald Wolfe's (Hatari Times publisher) first two Newton Leverbolt rifles. Around $8000 for a standard rifle, any caliber thru 505 Gibbs he thinks. These were definitely cool. My estimate is that there was at least 100,000 pounds of silicone strolling around the show in 5-9 pound saddle bag-style chest containers. And 50,000 yards of spandex. It will take me a week to sort out all of the neat stuff I had my hands on... Rich Buff Killer | ||
