Do the Hawkeyes use the same rings as the Model 77? Reason for asking, if I get Warne QD rings for a Ruger 77, will they work on the Hawkeye? Thanks.

Yes they use the same rings as a Ruger M77 MkII.
The finish on the rings that come with the rifle match the new rifle finish, whether chromoly or stainless. Warne QD's will work fine, and they have a nice matte black finish that would be swell on any Ruger Hawkeye.

Thanks RIP, that is what I will do. Order some of the Warne QD rings and use them on my Hawkeye.

i think the ruger rings are far better than the warne rings...stick with the warne rings
