I dream of having a double rifle.

In THIS THREAD, I asked about 3 1/2" 10 guage BRASS shotshell cases.

For those of you that didn't know Rigby made a very few (I believe only TWO), .775 Rigby double rifles. They were chambered in 10 Bore 2 7/8 with 1/41" twists.

>>>I have a .PDF article for the .775 Rigby as well, for anyone who would like to educate yourself on this caliber. Just email me again: mindcrime@charter.net<<< Wink

I think one of these would be awesome, but I personally would prefer it chambered in the 3 1/2" length so I could shoot regular (read PLASTIC hulled) Federal 3 1/2" slugs for "cheap thrills" while the brass shells would be for full powered loads. Cool

I guess if I could have ANY double rifle, after reading the article, this one is my DREAM RIFLE. It's kinda a mixture of OLD and NEW much like Robgunbuilder's 12 GA FH!!! thumb

Ah, hell, Rob's gun is also a DREAM RIFLE of mine! animal

2-7/8" brass cases and a 900 grain steel tipped lead bullet at 1500 fps ... The 10 Guage From Heaven by comparison to RGB & EH's playtoys ... yes I have the article ... and all the others you have offered so far. Can't you come up with something obscure? Wink

I keep telling you guys the 12 Ga FH short is really a good cartridge. 1000 gr bullet at an easy 1800-2000 fps with Rl-25. Just cut off a .50BMG at the shoulder and expand to .726. OAL will fit in a 3.5 chambered shotgun. Lead bullet and rifled slug screw in insert exceeds any Paradox gun ever built. Modify a Encore frame for a barrel with .200 metal around the chamber and a hearty dose of Tylenol and your in Big Bore Heaven. -Rob

Rob, then you could just add some "Dangerous Game Slugs" to the mix!!! Wink

BPI makes all kinds of interesting projectiles for shotguns. Cool
