Guys,

My M70 in 416 Rem has had a feeding problem that showed up very seldom -- except when it matters!

I had installed the 10% heavier Mauser Spring from Brownells, as well as tweaking the box, etc.

I never could get it 100% reliable, even though I thought I had it fixed several different times.

I think this time I really got it. I installed the "MS" spring from Wisners. This spring is about 50% stronger than stock, and for the first time I think it reliably overcomes any stiction and recoil induced vibration in the feeding system.

For about $9 delivered you just have to try it.

I will let you know if it ever fails to feed in the future, but right now I am convinced I finally have the right answer.
