Does anyone just so happen to know what the first and second FOLDING LEAVES on the RSM in .416 Rigby are SIGHTED TO; and which load (I am assuming 400 grains at 2400 fps). Thanks for any info that you could provide! "They who would give up an essential Liberty for Temporary Security, deserves neither Liberty or Security." ---Benjamin Franklin "SIC SEMPER TYRANNUS"

I would call Ruger Customer Service and ask them. I would think they could tell you.

Mine will hit dead on at 50, with the first standing leaf, is an inch high at 100 with the second. I haven't used the third leaf. This is with Federal factory loads and the 410 Woodleigh. A shot not taken is always a miss

A shade better than my Lott. The one I have, must have the highest leaf up to hit center at 50 yards. The other one and the standing express both shoot way to low (about 6") at 50yds. Don't know why but it urks me a little. But, I just use the last leaf and its fine. Still makes me mad though, because on a $1600 rifle, at least you should be able to use all the sights. But I can't use the rear two, unless I want to hit a hogs feet at 50yds, and they don't die from being shot in the foot. "Faith in God and the Mauser" DRSS-MEMBER

I think NECG sells some different height front sights that will raise you POI up, you just need it a little lower. A shot not taken is always a miss
