Got a few TULA 4 bore cases delivered.Picture shows one
in Big Al's chamber and others.The ones for him I chamfered
a radius on the front to allow case to feed like a paper case and not hangup on the chamber edge, as it is feeding from a pump action.The bore is .938 and the case mouth OD is 1.046 which leaves an edge to catch when feeding from an elevator in a pump action.You can see the lettering on the on base of the one case reversed
It says TULA No 4 RMC. To get these cases please contact Dave at Rocky Mtn Cartridge, and order direct rather than
go through me, which saves double handling.Cases are well built with really thick bases and good radius to the sides,from the base.In the Tula they will be good for 15k
psi.They use shotgun primers, and you would use the hottest shotgun primer there is..I have the ones here for Al and Jeffe, that are pd for.

HK--Here is pictures of Al's Tula 4 bore pump gun.I
have just the barrel and bolt with carrier, as I used these to get measurements to help get brass made.This pump gun uses a short 4 bore case about 3 in long..Ed.

What kind of loads for this beast?? Shot load or SLUGS ?? Any hunts in the near future???

There is no load data yet for these that we know of, as the paper shells never got imported.So they never had anything to check or even fire the guns. That is why Al, Mike and other fellow in MO needed these cases.They will work with shot and slugs.
I suggested they start out with shot, as it is easier to add wt to find the max load.We are going to check for 4 ga
shot cups. And sabots that would hold 12 ga slugs.Anyone
with any 4ga load info jump in.Ed.
