quote:There are a ton of threads dealing with the MT M1999 action on the "Gunsmithing" forum. Use the search facility for and look for "M1999", "M99" or "MRC", say. In particular look for renowned gun smith Jack Belk's M1999 critique. Actually, since the M1999 action has generated so much interest of late, you may have trouble finding all the articles - the search facility stops after 300 hits. But I did find J.Belk's article on another site: (Sorry about the format of this, sometimes the URL insertion facility plays games, click on this and you should be OK http://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=Custom&Number=129791&Forum=Custom&Words=M1999&Match=Entire%20Phrase&Searchpage=5&Limit=25&Old=allposts&Main=129791& Search=true#Post129791 The .458 Lott should fit very nicely into a M1999 LA. They are available right now in RH, and you may even get in on the introductory offer on the LH action ($350-$380, if memory serves). See this thread for the latest, and look for more via the search facility: Latest LH M1999 Charter Issue Progress Good luck - mike [ 05-31-2003, 19:51: Message edited by: mho ] | |||
