Anyone ever installed one and NOT used the McMillan Safari stock that is specifically molded for it, i.e. std Safari Express stock w/Sunny Hill mag?

I want to say that one of Saeed's rifles is put together is such a manner, or so it seems. I seem to recall watching one of his many videos (rifle w/Leupold affixed, rattling around like h&ll in the back of a vehicle) and the rifle pictured had a drop box mag w/o the stock being molded or finished to match.

Have a custom 416 Rem (Mod 70) using one; wood stock. Excellent!
