There are many of us who have been trying to get our hands on one for the past year. EAA keeps giving us the PR B.S.
Try e-mailing them and see what's the latest excuse they have conjoured up. In my last communication with EAA, they indicated that the rifles were in the country but held up by the U.S. State Dept. due to an error in translation.

I came across the EAA 45/70 SXS double rifle while surfing the net. Has anyone seen or shot it yet? I know not to expect much from such an inexpensive double but with 2 kids in college, it is all I can afford in a double rifle.

When I called them they said they would not be in the country until this fall. That was only about 2 weeks ago. It sounds as if they are not sure themselves.
