HDU, that is one beautiful stock on your 602. From time to time, a knockout piece of wood shows up on CZ Brnos. I had a ZKK-600 with the most stunning piece of walnut I have ever owned on a gun, and I've spent some big bucks on walnut blanks.

Kev,

the scope ia leupold 2.5x compact and it is in warne QD's. The rifle would be between 9.5 & 10 pounds.

For some reason I like the hogs back stock It handles recoil fine for me.

HD Your 602 looks awsome that is a magic bit of timber !!

I have my lott sighted in for 500 gr woodleigh softs, it holds 6 shots all up and is only a tinny bit of "gunsmithing" from holding 7. Which If I where heading to Africa for cape buff with it I might get it worked to hold the 7th for a little extra insuarnce.

Fireman,

the factory cross bolt is totally wrong !! they should be where I have had them added....funnily enough I have a cz 550 lux in 9.3x62 which had from the factory cross bolts for and aft the mag box as well as an F block styled recoil lug on the barrel rather than the funky tie down lug the sfari magnums use.

My 9.3x62 is in getting bedded at the moment when it comes back I ought to take a picture of it and post that as well. That was one rifle that despite needing some beddind due to a bit of flex in the forend was set up perfectly stock wise for the caliber.
