I JUST looked at a Ruger American 450 bushmaster today .I thought here is the cheap bear gun that kids can use and you won't.cry if they drop or scratch it .Is this case a 284 Winchester cut down? I am looking into this it's light and cheap and powerful enough for black bears .I would rather carry this than.a big pistol .I think they are making a stainless one too which.is good around wAter !

It's an awesome truck and four wheeler gun .I.have tons of bullets already for it from my 454 .I.can shoot this way more accurate than my.454 pistols and its not that much heavier .If the brass can be made from 284 I.have a bunch of that too .I would just need dies .I.think this would be a blast to.shoot .Joe from.real guns said they kick.like a 30-30 so it's a win win deal .I like this as a black bear gun for the mountains too .It's ugly as heck but will work good .It had a real good report on.real guns too !

I bought one awhile back. I never even fired it. The stock and magazine on the thing were so cheesy, I turned around and sold it.
