I have noticed many of the shooters in the video's seem to have poor technique. Leaning back not foreward etc. Appearance of poor grip or offhand target rifle style or modification there of. When I was instructed for shotgunning I was told a firm grip foreward or aggressive stance, and bent knees. I was also told some foreward tension ie push in the arms. I have noticed the foreward lean and foreward tension in the arms tend to make the upper body move as a whole along with the rifle or shotgun. When offhand target rifle shooting its different entirely you pull back with your trigger hand into your shoulder and vertically support the forend with the opposite hand. Any comments or insight as to the best technique for big bore shooting? The fellow shooting the Nitro seems to have a handle on things or was it a low power load.

When I've got some thunderer in my hands I always lean into it. I believe that the flexed knees-tight grip method allows you to ride with the recoil rather than trying to stand up to it. At least, it has always worked for me.
