It is a Shultz and Larsen 56 A in 416 Rigby of the type that Weatherby got his .378 build upon,
that cost 24000 danish crowns i\m referring to but the link dont want to come up with the page.

WinkMr Rigby,
All I get from the link is a page with a long list. Which rifle are you referring to?

mr rigbyYes there it is, also they have a nother one that is in 5,6x57 which i have a Krico sporter in , but the one they have is a S&L. The .358 NM is a 65DL which will be ready soon. And they has made several others too,in 243 and so.
these rifles are very strong and sturdy, you can see one of the .416 in use on Hunters video, "Buffalo", and "powder, bullet, caliber" where they try sevral of them.
Originally it was 4 or 5 of them buildt in .416 and Jens Perto had one which he used for a good deal of hunting and a friend of mine has another. The store also has a couple in 375H&H and several others.
Jens Perto is hunter/author form Denamrk who writes wery good and who uses almost nothing but S&L rifles, he has used 223,243, 6,5x55,7x61, 358 which he has had for mearly 30 years and loaded it with various ammo.
the one problem with the .358 over here that the rifles arnt sold, people keep them, so i got a 338win mag which is under rebarreling now.
Cabelas gunlibrary had one in 7x61 SH with a beautiful Maplestock on. Rudolf Sand used one for 281 species and thousands of game has fallen for the rifle.
