I may have narrowed down my next rifle to a 416 Rigby. I will budget between $3000, and $4000. for the gun. What would your suggestion be?? I will be going with a CRF Bolt action.

Buy the CZ and use the other $3000 to book a hunt. Mike

If you feel good having a super custom rifle made DO IT! I will recommend a Ruger Rigby because I have one and it is great. I recently got it and love it. The only thing I could do would be to have the stock upgraded but the one on mine is great so I don't need to. Have you shot the Rigby much? I would recommend it first. Before you go to work. It is a great caliber but if you don't shoot lots of big-bores it might be an expensive surprise. Think about your uses too. Before you build. So if I was going to have one with that budget I would start with the original Mauser like Shelby and spend the money to add that much nostalgia at least. Frank
