Q/R Rings on Ruger M77 in 376 Steyr.
Ladies and Gents,

I need som advice on finding a 30mm Quick release mount system which will tackle the recoil from my new built 376 steyr on a Ruger M77 mrk II.

The scope is a 1,5-6 x 42 Schmidt & Bender.

I was looking at the Warne Maxima rings but they are no longer in stock at Brownells.

Are there any other Q/R system which fits directly onto the ruger rails ?

I was looking at the Leupold QR system but I am worried that they will block the iron sites.

Any alternatives to the standard Ruger rings ?

are you workign with Bent? we talked about this on his thread. Fabricating levers on the ruger locking nuts, like warne's, is possible.

Bent is building the rifle for me, have to admit, I didnt see his thread.

Just got of the phone with him, its going in to the blueing tank tomorrow, and he is going to deliver it on Thursday.
