After a little more than 2 years, the wait is finally over. The .375 H&H arrived today. This will be the final rifle in this battery, (top to bottom: .505 Gibbs, .416 Rigby, and finally, the .375 H&H). Cheers. Chip.

Congrats! Beautiful rifles all!

30+ years experience tells me that perfection hit at .264. Others are adequate but anything before or after is wishful thinking.

Great looking rifles! Who made them for you?

Well done! clap
The subtle, understated, not-so-flamboyant figuring of the wood on the .375 H&H is great.
It is a great match to the chambering of the rifle, which is understated efficiency itself.
And with that scope on the .375 H&H, even Mr. Magoo would do well with it.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Just a little run down on these rifles: They were made by Ryan Breeding of Nampa, Id. They were all built on Granite Mountain Arms double square bridge Mauser actions of varying sizes. They all have 24" Pacnor stainless steel barrels. Don't ask me the twists, because I don't know. They all have a 14.5" LOP. Their weights are as follows:

1. .505 Gibbs: 11Lbs. 14ozs. empty, (no ammo, scope, or sling). 14Lbs 7ozs. with all that stuff, (4 in the magazine, one in the chamber).

2. .416 Rigby: 10 Lbs. 8ozs. empty. !2Lbs. 11ozs. with sling, scope and 5 rounds.

3. .375 H&H: 9Lbs. 14ozs. empty. 12Lbs. 5ozs. full, (6 rounds of ammo).

They all have their own "scale". The Gibbs is massive with a very thick for end and pistol grip. It also has a wider rear sight island, front sight ramp, and trigger guard set up. The Rigby is slightly scaled down, and the H&H is smaller yet.

I'm looking forward to shooting the .375, (should be more enjoyable than the other two Cool ).

Cheers. Chip.

I particularly applaud your choice of scopes. Not one of them overpowers the rifle on which it is mounted and only the .375 is fitted with anything but a straight tube. Those rifles should point like a dream!

Yep, totally agree.

Obviously, no semi-blind McGoo is getting behind any of those rifles. Roll Eyes

Very proper scoping on all of them! Good to see.
