I was wondering if anyone here knows a date the cz safari americans will be on the shelf. I am looking to purchase my first bigbore in 375 H&H and wanted to try these out before any decisions were made. Can I also get your opinions on the ruger m77 magnum and winchester m70 safari express. I have tried them both and the m77 seems too barrel heavy for me. The m70 fits me well, but seems to be getting alot of complaints as to the quality of the rifle. The gun would be used in africa and maybe elk, moose, and bear in NA. Does anyone know the actual weight of these rifles? What rifle would you pick and what would you have done to it? Thanks, Sevens

Cole, Did you have any work done on your m70 375? Anything you would recommend having done that you didn't do? Thanks. Sevens

I bought a used Mod 70 Super Express in 375 H&H off of Gunbroker.com and love it. The rifle was in almost perfect shape and came with a Burris Signature 1.5-6x scope, Leupold QD rings/mount, 60 rounds of safari grade ammo from Federal, reloading dies, brass and bullets for $850. Keep an eye over at Gunbroker. You can find some good deals. I really love the Mod 70. Nothing was done to mine except a little trigger work. Edited to add: I don't have the exact weight but mine is about 9lbs, give or take a half pound, with the scope and mounts.
