I'm leaning toward the NECG peep rear and a larger ivory bead front for the Lott Tropical. Anyone have any other favorite set-upsfor Bill Ruger's fine single?

I've had the XS front and rear as well as the NEGC set up. I liked the XS rear best, but NEGC front best. I had the XS set up on my Tropical Lott and used the NECG on my Tropical 405. The reason I went with the XS on the Lott is because I knew I'd never be using a scope on it. I did use a scope on the 405 some.

I just put an NECG front blade in mine two weeks ago. I couldn't be happier. I went with the white bead version. It did require some careful stoning and cold-blue to install, but it looks and functions great.

Thanks guys. I'm leaning to the NECG rear because I do plan to scope the Lott, even if not permanently. I'm all over the white bead front from NECG, but must first determine which height I'll need. Degoins, I'll check out the XS stuff, too.

go at least one step up from the factory front if you go with the NEGC. I went with the same height as the factory front on my 405 and there was just barely enough enough adjustment on the rear.
