I hunted with Rusty and his merry band of Double Rifle Shooters Society members this past April in Texas. (I was posting under Clark7781 at the time.) It was a great time shooting double rifles, hunting and meeting everyone.

I wanted to put out feelers to see if any double rifle owners would be interested in a double rifle shoot on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon near Wash. DC. Probably look for a day in the fall.

There are a couple of shooting ranges here in the DC area that I plan on contacting if there is an interest in something like this. (My first though is the Marine Corps base at Quantico--which has a nice range.)

If there is a big enough interest, I will do some leg work to see if one of the ranges would like to host a fun shoot like this.

I missed the hunt at Raggedy Creek with you guys this year,due to family crisis, so I'd be very interested in a shoot in your area!

We at DRSS are thinking of another shoot here in Texas sometime in the fall as well, but haven't decided where we will shoot/hunt. If we shoot only, we may shoot in Houston, at Rusty's range where we held the last one!

I'm in the process of contacting a number of established ranges here in the greater DC area to see if we could shot on their property. The selection of public ranges basically SUCK, so I'm doing some leg work and will update as more information comes in.
