Which 45 are you looking for? A 45 ACP or a 45 Colt? A Colt revolver or a Ruger revolver or a Colt Clone revolver? Ivory handles? Are you looking for a set of real elephant teeth grips or a set of immitation grips?

Rock8296....as for your question involving nickel plated .45's and ivory grips, I will answer it to the best of my ability...first of all Colt was the only manufacturer that I know of who made factory nickel plated 1911's. They were discontinued with the "70 series" pistols. I have seen some on the net, but they are going in the neighborhood of $1000+ each. Eagle grips make both real and "alternative" ivory grips. The real ones are about $300 a pair, the "alternative" (which look the same and are much tougher) are around $100 a pair. You can visit their website and see if these prices are still current, it has been a long time since I looked.
Your other alternative is to buy two blued 1911's, which many manufacturers make, and have them nickel plated. Last I checked on that it ran about $125-$200 per gun, depending on who does it. Hope this has been of some help.
