I have my DR coming Firday, have received my Norma brass, 40 rounds is all Midway had, ordered 100 BEll. Have 500 gr Woodleigh and 500 gr Swift A Frame.
I checked the overall length on the Norma brass and it is 3.236 and i thing the trim to length is 3.25. I called Sinclair to order a die for the Wilson case trimmer and they do not make them for 470 NE, I tried to put the case in my Forster case trimmer and it doesn"t fit
How do you trim to length a 470 NE?

I use a Forster Trimmer. I believe it was called the 'Big Fifty' for 50 BMG and the collet fits the 470 rim with no problem. They also have the pilots for 470. I believe I bought mine from Graf but thats been several years ago. Seems like it was around $50.

Forster makes three different Trimmers..The original (which will not work unless you open it up, Forster will do this for a reasonable charge), the 50 BMG which you do not need, and the Classic which is the one I have and it works with the proper collet #6 (I think) and pilot #474....Midway product #482-337 (collet) and 466-640 Pilot..if I wrote those down correctly..not sure if in stock...but you can check at:

The length of 470NE is 3.250"...trimm to 3.240" when needed..
