How can you actually tell the differance between an express rifle and the African? I just traded into one and its marked express along the left rail, blueing is more of a matte, 3 leaf quarter, front sight with hood, barrel band sling, caliber is engraved vs stamped, wood is decent with clean checkering. Mag release in the bow. I do see a crown and bmp marking and it is not marked whitworth except on the rail. 375HH I have been trying to go through the hundreds of posts in the past on whitworths and from what I can gather, there isn't a whole lot of differance between the 2. I traded a ruger tang safety 338 for it and no mattr what I think I got a good deal but curiosity is getting the better of me. Their stated reason for the policy is because "The animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves." Thus ends today's lesson in irony.

You traded one good gun for another - and for what it is worth I would have done the same. There is little quality difference in the various Interarms Mark X rifles, all are good, but not as good as earlier Belgium FNs. All Mark Xs I have owned were/are very accurate, probably more so than factory FNs. NRA Life Member, Band of Bubbas Charter Member, PGCA, DRSS. Shoot & hunt with vintage classics.

Yeah, I have hada fewof the early FN's and I wish I still had them. Now I just need to find a decent synthetic stock for this thing. No need to mess up a decent piece of wood. You need to post some pics! ____________________________________________ "If a man can't trust himself to carry a loaded rifle out of camp without risk of shooting somebody, then he has no business ever handling a rifle at all and should take up golf or tennis instead."
