Well Im a little tired this morning. I left Reno on Friday at 3:38 p.m. and arrived back at my home after a 1,620 mile none stop drive. I walked in the house at 4:42 pm here in Kansas on saturday.

I now know why they make airplanes!! Eeker

I went by the CZ booth and looked the 500 Jeffery that was on display over . I deceided it was time to buy. The rifle should be here in a week and a half. Just thought I would share this before my nap.

The wood to metal fit was typical CZ. Lets put it this way. I think that CZ used a Homelite Super XL 12 to inlet the wood.

I just couldn't stand not having a big bore anymore. I have a 3 position on order from Lapours, and I'll have to give Half Moon a call as well.

Maybe by the end of this week the gunshop will have received my rifle. It would be nice to shoot it on saturday.

There is one problem. The length of pull is off. Its way to short. Thats the trouble buying a rifle built for everyone.

Anybody know anything about Great American Gunstocks "British Express Rifle Classic" model?

You will likely get mixed reviews about Great American Gunstocks, but can say some years ago did a fair amount of business with him and had no problems. Last few years heard of complaints about so called inletting jobs on his stocks, but again, I think sometimes the complainers are not accustomed to nor inclined to do much work at all on a gunstock. It is not easy and it is not speedy if it is done correctly. There are some people that should not be allowed to have a Dremel tool even close to something requiring patience and dedication. Again, I had good luck with him and sure others will pitch in with their experience. Good Luck
