Not necessarily Big Bore related.

Does anyone subscribe to 'Gun Tests' and if so

do you find it worthwhile?

Thanks

I was a big fan of theirs off and on for a few years.
I subscribed intermittently.
Finally, I got tired of them giving a 'buy' / 'don't buy'/ 'conditional buy' type of rating based on the nitpickiest shit like 1/10 of an inch between products tested, such as pistol accuracy, for instance.
Gimme a break!
The shooter or any number of factors could've given the same result in reverse and yet they came down to that.
It got to be a little much.

I wrote them a letter, written the same way they printed their articles, cancelling my subscription.
They finally rated a 'don't buy' from ME.

"It's worth a try, but, at $49.00 per year, we feel there are better ways to get our information. We give this magazine a 'conditional buy' at this time..."

I also wasn't crazy about their rating system. There were some good articles, but all in all not worth it for an extended period of time. Subscribe for 1 year and if you don't like it don't renew.

I was also upset when they "sold" my name to companies who proceeded to send me junk mail. How do I know it was them?? My name is Bryan, they in turn miss spelled it Brain. Now typically I take it as a compliment, but I received sooo many pieces of junk mail with the mispelled name it was terrible.
