I decieded to take advantage of the special offer on the Montana 1999 PH action, and build my first real big bore. I want a classic .375 H&H, quarter rib, hooded front site, etc... so I want to make sure I'm geting it right. on the order form they ask for barrel, bore, and groove dimensions ex. 350/358 cal 1-16 What do I pick for a 375 H&H? also it ask for barrel crown 11 deg., etc... Is one crown more durable than another(this gun is going to get used)? for barrel contour they have what they call a PH sporter contour, I imagine that is what I want, but I just wanted to double check. if you guys have any other suggestions, or if I'm missing something please tell me I don't want to mess anything up? Thanks Jason

You don't need their upcoming (sometime) PH model for the 375 H&H. Their standard magnum 1999 action handles it nicely. They also make a good barreled action. Pick 22-26" whatever you want and I'd say a 12" twist. Barrel contours are to suit the weight you like and I think #4 contour is the lightest you can get in a .375. You need to talk to them about that.
