Don't miss Andy Tillman's superb project, now posted in the Nickudu Files.

Great post, Nick. Andy has a great opus there. I knew if I procrastinated long enough on the penetration tests, Andy would answer all my questions.

RIP,
It's good to have you back, my friend. What did you think of the performance of those Kodiak bullets?

Friend Nick,
I was as impressed as you were. Andy makes sense, very "reasonable," as others have said.

I gotta have some of those Kodiaks ... But I hesitate to utter another word. Everytime I start blabbing about a bullet, the maker goes tits up. I better not jinx another bullet, mum's the word. To each his own bullet.

That's right, isn't it?! I hope you don't take a fancy to Barnes anytime soon!

Nick,
Barnes? The X, XLC, and Triple Shocks are great by me, and the solids will do if an FN monometal solid or Hornady or Woodleigh FMJ cannot be found ...

I just wish I could find an aerodynamic 300 to 320 grain small/medium game bullet of .423 caliber. HV concepts holds out hope of piping the GSC 320 grain HV into country ...

And though I did blab a lot about GSC quality, they did not actually go tits up. Demand just exceeded the supply and delivery went into the crapper. Hopefully those "best" bullets will be around forever, if you can only find them without a personal trip to RSA ...

As for Bridger Bullets, well, they never actually got off the ground to regular production, and I think there are other factors involved with John's business life, besides the quality of bullet. Bridger were "best" bullets too.

Hey! I guess I am not a jinx after all! I can blab all I want about bullets without fear. Yes Nick, get some Kodiaks to supplement your X's. I still see Barnes using your photo to hawk their bullets now and then. You handsome devil! Photogenic are you?

Where are they using my photo?!! I'll sue 'em! I just hate people who use things without permission!

I'll bet my Gibbs will knock buffalo right over with those Kodiaks. ... or isn't that possible? Seriously, I do wonder how well they'd fare when onside bone is squarely hit.
