woodsracer.585 Nyati.......Which Guns & Ammo?????
I have my entire "library" 1984-1999 out searching for THE G&A Issue in which Ross Seyfried first premiered the .585 Nyati---I KNOW that I have it, because I have read it several times.

Does anyone know which MONTH/YEAR G&A issue I need to find to read the article again?!?!?!?

338guyDecember, 1991.
I just had my issue out because I found some Bell brass in 577 Nitro basic and wanted to be sure it would work.
I have a Frank Wells built Nyati. I have found Huntington's the cheapest for Bertram brass and NEI makes some nice moulds.
Whats yours?

Now BACK TO LOOKING......
I went through my ENTIRE library, until I figured out that I had saved THAT ISSUE in a "special place" for future reading.

This morning, I remembered where the special place was!!!!!

I'm afraid not. I believe he passed away a few weeks ago.

Fred passed away, don't know about Frank's status.

Tex21Oops. Sorry...
I guess I'm proof that you shouldn't believe everything you read.

I don't think you ever answered 338guy's question, Woodsracer.

I did originally in my second post, but unfortunately, I "
Edited" it instead of "
Quoting" it.

I don't have a Nyati.

I have the BUG; BADLY, and am seriously wanting something bigger than my two .416 Rigbys (one CZ and one RSM).
Do I need something bigger......NO, but I still want more "shove."
Currently, I'm comparing the .470 Mbogo, the venerable .505 Gibbs, the .550 Mag., the .585 Nyati, and the new .585 AHR. I was looking at the .470 Mbogo, but now it seems that I'm leaning towards the .505 Gibbs for bullet selection and popularity.

mehulkamdarTex 21,
It was Fred Wells who passed away. No relation of Frank Wells. You did read right but it was a different gunmaker.

Cheers!
