That original Kimber folded up. I don't know about that particular rifle but I bought one of the 505 barrels and a 25 caliber barrel (made by McGowen) from a guy who picked up a lot of inventory at the liquidation auction. They are good barrels and the actions were well made too. I would suppose its a good gun.

TT is right.. good barrels and out of biz...

the market,in 1991, wasn't the same as today... in 1991, we were still coming out of the the oil slump/reseccsion AND (in houston) the columbia impact on NASA

Wait 18months.. you might get one from CZ

We saw 2 at the Tulsa gun show, April 3rd. If I remember correctly one was like 7995$ and the other 15,000$. I didn't examie them, but in walking by the table they looked new or like new. I think one had the box with it.

I collect Kimber rifles and I saw this 505 also. If you saw a 505 Kimber for $7,995.00 I want to know where I can see it. A few years ago a guy on Oaklahoma had two for $10,500 each. I think $15,000 is way out of sight. Even though they made only about 5 or so. I have a 375 African and I am told only 10 were made. I have not been able to confirm this though. I handled a 505 at the Kimber booth years ago at the SCI convention in Reno. I wish I would have bought one then. I don't think any were produced in 404.
