Just bought a Safari Express 375 and was wondering if there is a particular "go to" powder for this caliber/rifle? Favorite bullet?

Most of the medium to slow burn poweder work well. I like the IMR4064 as it performs well in my post 64 M70 with 235-270g slugs. IMR4350 & RL19 work well with heavier; 300g slugs.

It really is a easy cartridge to reload.

Mine loves IMR4064 with 300 grain TSX bullets and IMR4350 with the lighter weight (260 Partitions) bullets.

I use rl15 for the 260 accubond, and IMR 4350 for the 300 grain bullets, with great accuracy. The 375 that I have has been the easiest caliber to get great groups out of all my rifles.

Mine thrives on IMR 4350 for 270 and 300 grain stuff and RE 15 for the 350 Woodleighs. After 1500 rounds through it, it still shoots MOA. Mine has been very effective in the field also with 300 grain factory Remington Swift A Frames. The long range accuracy is excellent.

I agree. 78gr of W760 just seems to "work" with 300gr bullets in the 375.

Max load. Work up!

76 to 78 grains of H4350 with a 300 grain bullet (mine likes Swift A-Frames) shoots sub moa and isn't affected by temperature like some of the other powders.

40-50 years ago my "go to" was DuPont 4064, but in recent years I have switched over to RL 15. With the 4350's you get unnecessary recoil, in my opion.

Another reloader 15 user here,270 tsx.
Accurate and not hard on the shoulder, but puts hurt on what you shoot.

Reloader 15 and Swift A Frames...you will find the sweet spot in the 68.5-70.0 grain range with Reloader 15 but be aware that 70.0 grains is the absolute max. Work up slowly...the 375 does not need to be hot-rodded to be effective.

Have yet to use a "bad" powder/bullet load combo in my Pre-64 M70. Recommend to stay at the book levels. It'll do the rest.
