Posted in "Reloading" forum also... Has anyone taken a look at the 375H&H data that Accurate Arms has published in their online manuals? The old manual lists AA4350 and a 300gr Sierra SBT starting at 71.1gr = 2241fps, and a max 79.0gr = 2547fps. The new manual lists the same bullet and same powder but with largely different data, 65.7gr = 2300fps, 73.0gr = 2550fps. I contacted Accurate and they said they reduced the load due to overly high powder compression. When I asked how the velocities remained the same, they stated that the old test barrel must have been completely worn out. They also confirmed that the AA4350 formulation has not changed. Doesn't this sound fishy? I guess it's just one more reason to go buy some Reloader 15!! "The atomic bomb made the prospect of future war unendurable.
