I have Warne's on my CZ 416 Rigby and BRNO 375 H&H along with Kahles 2-7 scopes. No problems thus far. No experience with the Talleys.

I have absolutely no problems with the CZ. I have a Warne on my 375 602 and it actually tore the recoil lug on the rear bridge. The lug doesn't have much engagement in the notch in the rear bridge. The CZ is very positive in the engagement. I have never seen Talleys so can't comment. I'll probably put a set of CZ's on the 375 if they will fit the 602. SCI Life Member NRA Patron Life Member DRSS

I have Warne's on my Model 70 in .375 H&H and Talley's on my CZ550 in .416 Rigby. The Talleys are more massive and probably sturdier because of that. They are also very well made, perhaps slightly better than the Warne's but the Warnes are more elegant in my opinion. The Talleys come with both the quick detach lever and the fixed mount locking nut so you can choose to change your mind as often as you want. I prefer the Talleys on the CZ. _________________________________ AR, where the hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history become the nattering nabobs of negativisim.

I have three of the CZ (375,416, 458Lott). On the 416 I have the same scope you have... mounted with Talley's and Talley's on the other rifles/scopes as well. I like Talley's I have switched several rifles/scopes over to Talley in the past year...No experience with the others. I use the QD Levers on the CZ's.

I have Talley's on my CZ 416 Rigby. They replaced the CZ rings. No comparison IMO, the Talleys are head and shoulders above the CZ's. No experience with the Warnes. Currently putting together my CZ in 458 Lott --- it WILL have Talley's as well! The folks at Talley are a rarity in business today --- they make you absolutely glad that you did business with them, pure pleasure. Salt of the earth folks, straight up and square on. I'll deviate from the rest here. I ahve Leup. on my .404 & they work well, no problems so far after 250+ rounds & having the scope off & on the rifle several times. LIFE IS NOT A SPECTATOR'S SPORT!

quote: Fred, I'll agree that the Leupold QRW with the square recoil shoulder on the bottom of the ring is excellent. Not for a CZ however. Yours and mine, .404 Jeffery rifles, are Win M70 Classics. O.K., yours is Sunday best Safari attired and mine is stainless and synthetic ... but hey, it is getting an H&H Moon Bead front sight installed right now. That barrel band front will be blued. And it has matte black QRW bases and rings on the rifle, 8x40'ed and epoxied to the receiver, square and true. I think that the Leupold QRW's are made by Warne.

Talley. Somehow, the last time I ordered something from Gary, I underpaid paid him and he sent the products anyway - and simply "invoiced" me for the balance, which of course I promptly paid. Try getting someone to send you something when you still owe them money these days.

I like both warnes and Talley's but I do like warnes as they engage the lug recess better than talley's. I do have cz's on my .375 and there fine.

Heimann, The best are hand-made by Tom Burgess, but good luck finding any. Talley's are Good Enough. jim if you're too busy to hunt, you're too busy.

I much prefer the Talleys..I used Warnes for a number of years and they are not as well finished as Talleys, in fact they are crude IMO..They also damn near got me stomped one time because the spring levers bounced out of place and blocked the uplift of my bolt..
