| Try the 350 HornadySP or the 400 gr. Swift A Frame. These bullets will hold together at the higher 45/70 velocities. I have used the Hornady 350gr. in the 45/70 at @1900fps and in the 450 No2 at @2330fps with excellent results. I have not personally used the Swift 400gr. |

| NE 45o No2,
I would be careful about using the Swift bullet in a tubular mag Levergun. I looked at the Swifts for my 450 Marlin, but though the bullets a little to "pointy" for my liking |

| efryman I spoke with the owner of Swift Bullets and his son at the Dallas Safari show. The .458 diameter 400gr. A-Frame is a flat nose. It is the only flat nose they make. It is designed for the lever rifles. They also stated their bullets were safe in double rifles, the owner shoots a 470 double. They seem like very nice people. The 500gr. 458 A-Frame shoots good in my 450 No2. |

| I've used the 400 gr. Speers exclusively on game from elk to boar with great results. Can't comment on moose. |
