| Maybe we can run the match at a place that has gophers and integrate them into the fun. |

| Great. Thanks for the offer - yes, it would be nice to have some. We can talk later about the course of fire and what we want to do. I have never run two shoots the same way. Moving paper, moving jugs, stationary jugs, charging gophers... |

| Good! 375 or better. 45-70 lever guns are also welcome. You would make double rifle #3, hopefully some more will show up. |

| Frank, Good to have you here. Sorry about the delay-I'm not too addicted to checking posts every 4 hours, or 24 sometimes. The Whittecar range is on the west side of Hamilton, MT. check out whittecarrange.com, there is a map.
Big Bores, If you are familiar with guns, reloading, shooting, more than avg. recoil, etc. just get about anything within reason. If not, get a 375 or 458 WM and play with it a bit. 470 is starting out on the run, but if it's what you want, then do it. Budget, motivation, and time on task will answer the other questions. Read a bunch of the posts here and you will get a feel for some things, although some discussions end up splitting hairs or following rabbit trails of interest to some but not all. Remember, opinions are often held dear, and what works for you doesn't necessarily work for me or Bob or Pete. Folks on this site are helpful with info and advice, so just throw out a question and see what you get.
We would love to have you come up and shoot. You can borrow my 375 if you want. |

| Frank, Be there at 8:45 am. Bring your gun and a bunch of ammo, at least 20. We have a good time and get a good bunch of guys (watch out for JCS271 when he gets all squinty-eyed though, he's as mean as a gut shot grizzly). Bitterroot seems nice until he says "Here, shoot my gun." After you get back on your feet he just kind of laughs. |

| Since I don't see it posted in the thread, what's the location of this shoot? I just moved to Bozeman and am not familiar with the Hamilton area at all.

| sound like everyone had a great time. I made one down in Julip Texas a few years ago and we had a great time sharing guns and stories. I wish I could make more of them.
