I am a lefty with an opportunity to pick up a used left handed Browning Stainless Stalker in .375 H&H. I have been very pleased for 12 years with my A-Bolt SS in .338 WM. Can anyone out there tell me about their experiences with an A-Bolt in .375 H&H? Thanks

My wife has had an A Bolt for about 14 years. It is accurate, light to carry and feeds very smoothly because of straight line cartridge presentation. It is a bit difficult to load from the top as the detachable magazine is tightly configured. A rifle is carried a lot and seldom shot so the lighter weight is an advantage. A good recoil pad is recommended. For implicit endorsement, see one in Kevin Robertson's "The Perfect Shot".

Second ARMORER'S tu2 of K. Robertson's endorsement of the A-bolt...figure that statement to make sense!

Since you already have the same rifle in .338 and are happy with it, there should be little left for us to say. I have one and it shoots great, BUY IT!

I honestly do not even see the need for this question, given your experience with the A-Bolt. I have two, a go to .300wm and a .375H&H that is mostly a safe queen as I prefer the .416Rem for such work.

Bottom line - buy it.

I've got an A-bolt in 375 with the BOSS. Gun shoots great. You can really dial in the groups with just about any round using the BOSS gismo. If I use the ported BOSS collar the recoil is less than my A-Bolt in 300 win mag.
Get yourself a couple extra mags if you decide to buy the gun.

Bought one w/ boss for my first 375 and sold it after picking up a couple of others. The most accurate rifle I've ever owned.
