I am eyeing an H&R Ultra single shot chambered in 450 Marlin with 22 inch bbl, and need to know who makes good .458 spitzers other than Barnes.
Greatest interest is in the 300 to 350 gr weight range. Thanks.

350 gr Speer with semi-flat nose is great for deer.I just make a semi-spitzer out of it with
file, spining it it a chuck.My 458 HE will shoot it as flat as a 300 WEA does a 180 gr.Ed.

Hawk Bullet make very nice bullet in light weight pointed shape thin jacquet for 458 cal , main problem with low velocity 458 is to avoid heavy thickness jacquet design for 458 WIN mag and even more powerfull case expansion will not good on game

Thanks for the tip...I have a pile of Speer 350s I use in my 458 Win double, and the semi-spitzers come out very nice.

Dantec - I love Hawk bullets and didnot know they made light spitzers. I should get 2400 fps with AA 2230for a 300 grainer , so a .030 jacket will be fine. Thanks!
