Nice rifle but that's an awful lot of money. I think my .505 is far better and I wouldn't think of asking that much for it.

There's a nice article on Granite Mountain Arms and their 505 in the new issue of Accurate Rifle. They also talk about a 3" 458 magnum and their proprietary 585 GMA Express, among other big bores suited for their jumbo actions.

My 505 is built on a Vektor and I would not take less than $10K for it. This one is not too bad, but a Model 30 Express action lowers the value IMHO. Probably worth it though.-Rob
