ElKampMaster: I own a Brno ZKK 602 which I guess has the some trigger system. Following the RIP methods Ive turned the screw to the limit and nullified the set feature. But I must warn you about something: once I had on my sights a nice boar and pressed this trigger with the safety on. Releasing it the gun boomed. Never could reproduce this incident, alas it happened once and was enough for me. Always chech your safety and of course Rule Four is in force: never point your gun to something you dont want to destroy. Happy hunting

nainital, You give good advice regarding checking the safety function after a trigger adjustment. However, the BRNO ZKK 602 has a totally different trigger and safety than the CZ 550 Magnum. That is THE MAJOR DIFFERENCE between the two rifles. The CZ 550 Magnum is an upgrade of the BRNO ZKK 602, made by the same folks. The 602 trigger mechanisms are attached to the bottom metal of the rifle. The 550 trigger is anchored to the receiver portion of the action, as with most rifles. The 602 safety is pulled back to fire, and pushed forward to make safe, which is the opposite of the CZ 550 Magnum, and most other rifles.
