These bullets arrived from Mike Brady just 3 days after I ordered. Great! This North Fork 450 grainer is 1.458" long, must be a good omen. Anybody got any loads for this bullet? I am inclined to just set them on top of my favorite 500 grain standard bullet loads and just go to town. Anybody else ever do that and what adjustments were required, if any, in any of the various .458 rifles? They are beautiful bullets!

RIP, I am shooting NF's with 83grs of 4320 with a 215 federal primer...I have shot groups from 25,50,75 and 100yds...The rounds are shooting very accurate...At 75yds off shooting sticks I got a grouo of .75 of an inch... Mike

retreever, Thanks for the peek at your groups by email. You are using Jack Lott's favorite 500gr bullet charge for the .458 Lott: 83gr of IMR 4320. That fits my idea. Likely my "best" 500gr bullet load can be my starting point for substituting a 450gr North Fork. My rifle likes RL-15 84gr for solids and 85gr for softs of the traditional 500gr variety. That may prevent me from squandering North Forks on an extended load development. Cheers!
